Taxis at Pula Airport

At the airport in Pula, taxis are situated next to the bus stations, outside the airport structure.

Of course, taxis can also get you to other places in Istria. Outside the terminal building are taxis waiting. Up to four individuals can travel in a cab for 120-150 HRK to get to Pula's center.

From Pula Airport, a cab will run you 450 HRK and 600 HRK, respectively, to get to Rovinj (35 minutes) and Pore (45 minutes).

Trains at Pula Airport

There aren't any trains or metros that go to or from the Pula Airport right now. The heart of Pula's city has a train station closest to the airport.

The Pula Train Station is open Monday through Friday from 08:10 a.m. to 03:40 p.m. from August through November. It is situated at Kolodvorska 5 in Pula. From 8:40 a.m. to 6:10 p.m. every day from June to August.

Just a short stroll from Pula Arena and the city center is the train station and a red tower on the shore. Going on foot to the railway station is an option if you have limited luggage. Public transportation is a different option to travel to the railway station. The No. 4 and No. 5 bus lines stop close to the train station. A ticket costs approximately 11 HRK.

Buses at Pula Airport

Bus services are accessible at the airport in Pula. The official bus company of PUY, Pula Airport Ltd., operates buses you can board.

The fare was 30 Kuna for transportation from Pula Airport to Pula Main Bus Station, Trg I istarske brigade 1, Pula, platform 16. Cash in Kuna or credit cards is both accepted forms of payment. Approximately 30 minutes after the plane lands, the shuttle will depart from Pula Airport towards the city's central bus station.

The airport in Pula is also connected by shuttle buses to Rabac in eastern Istria and to coastal communities on the western side of Istria. Brioni and FILS, two bus operators, operate these shuttle buses and work on alternate days. 110 Kunas will get you a one-way ticket to Rovinj, 200 Kunas will contact you to Porec or Novigrad, and 260 Kunas will get you to Umag. A one-way trip to Rabac likewise costs 260 Kunas.

Pet Relief at Pula Airport

An animal may only be transported to Pula Airport if its owner also takes the same Croatia Airlines aircraft. There is an additional charge of 10 EUR for the transportation of animals in the luggage hold for international flights booked on the day of departure in Croatia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina.

Animals that are too large to fit in the passenger cabin may be transported in the luggage area if certain conditions are met. Medium-sized animals can be transported in the luggage compartment and work in a container up to 80x55x55cm.
